Express Entry

Express Entry is a points-based online system that the Government of Canada uses to handle immigration applications specifically targeting certain skilled workers in order to fulfill labor shortages. Express Entry consists of three programs that require a certain language skill (CLB – Canadian Language Benchmark) based on the category of work experience. The three programs are:

Canadian Experience Class: This program is for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience in the last 3 years.
Federal Skilled Worker: This program is for skilled workers with foreign work accompanied by secondary education.
Federal Skilled Trades: This program is for skilled workers who are qualified in a skilled trade and hold a valid job offer or a certificate of qualification.
